The Beginning of Something New

Hey y’all,

I’ve been feeling that nudge again, you know the one. That little whisper from God that says, it’s time to grow again.

Over the past year, I’ve learned so much about building online, creating digital products, and showing up in faith even when the path didn’t always make sense. But lately, I’ve felt pulled to learn something completely new. So… here we are.

I’m starting to learn trading.

Now before you roll your eyes or think I’ve lost it, hear me out, friend, I don’t see this as a “get rich quick” thing. For me, it’s about growth. It’s about learning a skill that could change my family’s future and give me the freedom I’ve been working toward all this time. I’ve watched people completely transform their lives by learning this, and something inside me just said, why not you too?

I’m starting from zero. I’ll be honest, I don’t know the first thing about charts or candles or any of that yet. But I do know how to learn. And I know how to stay rooted when things get hard. So I’m committing to documenting this whole journey, from the early confusion to the little “aha” moments and every lesson in between.

I’ll be sharing what I’m learning right here, and maybe even how it starts to weave together with everything else I’ve been building under Rootbound Lauren. Because I don’t think this is a new chapter that replaces the old... I think it’s an expansion.

Just as with digital marketing, I started terrified, and believe me, I'm feeling it now. I do believe that hopefully I will be able to share what I learn with my audience as I go and maybe even eventually with my children when they get older.

And friend, if you’ve been feeling like it’s too late to start something new, or that you’ve tried too many times before, I hope my journey reminds you that God can still do something brand new through you. We just have to take that first step.

So here it is... day one. The beginning of something new.
